About the event
Mental Health Fundamentals is an entry-level course about common mental health diagnoses that providers encounter. The class information can be used by in-home and residential staff, foster and adoptive parents, providers, and others.
Objectives:
1. Participants will learn the impact of trauma and substance abuse on mental health
2. Participants will learn the symptoms of five mental health diagnoses
3. Participants will learn five strategies to work with each of these diagnoses
